About MyTravelPal
MyTravelPal helps European drivers plan smart road trips: real tolls, best departure time, hotels and fuel stations along the route, and adverse-event alerts. We turn «point A to point B» into a multi-day itinerary with meal, sleep and refuel stops exactly where they make sense.
Our mission
Google Maps and Waze are excellent for today’s commute. But when you leave for a week with your family across France to the Alps, or drive from Madrid to Sicily in summer, you need more: knowing exactly how much you will spend on tolls, when to leave to avoid the Saturday jam, where to sleep on the first night and which service station along the way has diesel 12 % cheaper. That gap is what MyTravelPal fills.
Our story
MyTravelPal started in 2026, born from the frustration of people who take long European road trips every year and kept confirming, trip after trip, that generic navigation apps do not think about pauses, meals, budget or multi-day logistics. We first built it for ourselves — a weekend in Madrid — and decided to open it up when the friends who tried it stopped using their previous planners. We are a small team and we reply to emails personally.
Where we operate
We currently cover road trips through Spain, France, Italy, Germany and Portugal, with official fuel-price data in ES/FR/IT and real toll prices for the main motorways. We will expand to more European countries throughout 2026: next on the list are Switzerland, Austria, the Netherlands and Belgium.
Where we are
We operate from Madrid, Spain. The backend runs in a European data centre (Paris, Fly.io) and all data processing is done under GDPR. You can read our terms of service and privacy policy for the full legal detail.
